Indicator cancelling

Thought id share something that has been annoying me for a while, and self inflicted.

I fitted the X-Eng ignition key protection a while back, and since then the indicator stalk will never stay engaged when indicating left. After months of putting up with having to keep pushing it down i took it apart again today. Played around swivelling the switch mechanism, still the same.

Was about to give up in disgust, when I thought about turning the rubber gator up the other way. Turns out its shorter one side than the other. the elastic effect of the shorter side was pulling the indicator back up. Having swivelled it around, it now works perfectly again.

Nice easy fix for anyone suffering the same.
