We have had to get a trailer as since our return from Oz we have got a dog! She needs somewhere to sit/sleep so that means moving out a load of stuff!
We bought a refurbished Sankey trailer from someone on this Forum and will do further bits to it over this summer when we work out exactly what needs to go in and where. Click image to enlarge Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Nice!
It would also be a good place for an extra roof tent for the kids! |

The cage is roll over protection, designed and built by Performance and Protection (UK company).
We picked P&P's 'off the shelf ' expedition cage but then added an internal crossed hoop, external side diagonals (across the back windows) and also a cross on the roof. These were to give extra strength in the event of a heavy side roll. The cage also doubles up as a roof rack, so the tent is fixed directly to it. It also provides an excellent all-sides ladder to get up to open and close the tent! There are more pictures, including a couple of close ups of the internal cage on my Gallery on this forum. Hope that helps! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |
