Wiper fault
Laughing My Land Rovers loves to give me something to do each week Rolling with laughter

The wipers have stopped working, which is great with all the rain we've been having.

I have pulled the motor assembly out and with it disconnected it does not blow the fuse.
When plugged in as soon as you move stalk the fuse snaps with a lovely flash.

The wipers feel quite stiff to move even after spraying pivot point....how much resistance is normal?

Should I just swap unit complete or try stop switch first? Motor looks fine inside and doesn't smell burnt or overloaded?

It's the resistance that's blowing the fuse. Your problem will likely be worn or seized spindle boxes, I suspect. Darren

As above but have a looo at the stalk connections also as the stalks are fragile that is before you start stripping dash to get at the wheel boxes. Jeff
