Hi Fletch - one last question for you - I'm trying to correlate some other measurements I've received from other kind folks like yourself.
When you made your 17.5" measurement, were you measuring from line "A" or "B" in the picture below? I'm assuming "A", but I want to be sure Click image to enlarge |

Rather than worry too much about the measurements, centralise the whole support bracket to the cut out on the arch Thats how most conversion places do it.

My measurement of 17.5 was from the nearest metal to the back door so that would be B Regards. |

Re distance to seat belt mounting hole - there is a specific seat belt mount anchor bracket that fits the underside of the tub and is bolted to the rear crossmember. Fitting that component will determine the "factory" placement of the seat belt mount.
