I have heard various reports about Double S products, unfortunately most are not good.
The fabricators who used to work for them left (they were not happy about cutting corners when producing stuff) and set up their own business - Predator Styling Ltd Unit 2, Lobsgrove Park, Whiteball, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 0LY Tel: 01823 672117 My TD5 was used as a template by them for a full 90 SS system, no cat, and only a small cherry bomb silencer on the back. It is excellent, the quality is A1 and the sound superb Quite a few people I know now have their systems on TD5's and Puma's and I have not heard of a single complaint Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

I have a straight through 3" ss system from griffen performance not cheap but lovely exhaust. I went for them after researching I had also looked at double s but did not find great feedback.

Don't touch there products with a barge pole.
Had one on the series I. They use mild steel on the end pieces which in time corrodes and needs replacing. ( think most stainless exhaust Co's use it.) When it came to replacing under the lifetime warranty I had nothing but problems and on one occasion the proprietor accused me of lying to him which was outrageous. In essence shocking customer service and not very good products. Jonesie Series I 86" Petrol orig side valve (daily hack) VW Tiguan ( bit bland but very comfy ) Porsche 997.2 790 Bonnie |
