Fitting second row puma seats in a 300 tdi
Hi,
Looking for a bit of advice regarding fitting tdci second row seats in a 300tdi 99 110 csw. They came fitted in the vechicle when I bought it however they were only fixed to the ali upstand/floor Shocked anyway I want to fit them correctly so I presuming I need a later tdci mid crossmember. But what fittings/brackets do I need for the secure fitting of the striker plate that sits on the rear tub floor. I've seen this part

However I can't work out how/if it would fit my 300tdi. Any pointers would be great
Cheers

Just found this image which makes it clearer, hopefully the brackets will fit the 300tdi

I've just googled some pics of a tdi chassis and it looks like the crossmember should bolt straight on and the two brackets you linked to (which are the correct ones) should fit but could need a bit of modding if the angle of the crossmember they bolt to is different (can't really tell from the pics) you could always weld them to the crossmember in the correct position and it will definately be safer than just bolting to the upstand Shocked Ray

Thanks for the info Thumbs Up have now ordered the later bolt in crossmember from YRM. Also will order the striker plate brackets and do as you say and weld them in place. Currently I've got the floor/ and upstand out so it's easy enough to do it right.
Cheers
