So, joking and OT samples aside...
I am still completely in the dark and totally unconvinced about the Options List, or not, which may, or may not, be available for the upcoming Heritage LE (and other Celebration LE models for that matter!)... My Squealer sent me the official details of the official Defender Celebration LE Programme and this has left me somewhat more confused... Why? I hear you shout in unison... Well, there are a number of tabs for the various Celebration models in this file, including the Heritage LE, and these detail the LE model specific 'fixtures and fittings'! But there is also a 'List Price' tab, for each option, detailing the normal options list one would expect to be able to choose from when purchasing a particular model. And this includes the x6 90 guises, for which the Heritage lists the 'Base' spec as the starting point, and this does appear to have a list of options! The options have prices alongside and include the much discussed AirCon, Radio and other fundamental stuff seemingly missing from the base Heritage LE offering! My question to Dealer was "are these options available for me to choose from?" ... They did not know the answer and I have asked them, specifically, to check whether a customer can choose from these options for their selected Celebration LE Model... I will let you know the outcome, unless someone else can provide an evidence based definitive answer before then... Confused... I still am... Rog... The GREEN One... If air con was an option it's the only one I'd choose as not bothered about the stereo.

as I understand it, the heritage is based upon a base spec defender whilst the other two variants are based upon a sx. This is why the Heritage doesn't have air conditioning. Looking at the standard spec and the options list for the 2015 model year, it's hard to determine what the sx has that the heritage doesn't. The radio with blue tooth, (not an issue as we all swap out the radios anyway) , side steps? Sunroof?
It would be helpful if Land Rover/ dealers could confirm if we can spec up our cars. Most options probably wouldn't be of interest. I may consider air con, just in case we have a hot day It's as clear as mud. Any help appreciated Sorry, one more point. Anyone know what tyres it will come with ? Afraid they are not changeable. From the Dealer guide: "Specifications are fixed although dealer fit accessories will be available."
