I think the Nolden head lights and the mantec they both make a massive difference.
The wheels are a great upgrade, the handling is great now. There are so many more things I'm going to look at though. Ive just ordered Black defender letters for the bonnet after seeing yours, Last edited by JAY BOY on 28th Dec 2014 4:48pm. Edited 1 time in total |

So after nearly 2.5 years of ownership and no real problems as its still only done 7800 miles.
It's now time for a few more changes to me made. Me and my defender are off on a tour of the country on business, the only reason i'm taking the defender is its booked in for a couple of days with Pete @ BAS. New uprated intercooler 170 Bhp map Slickshift Not really looking forward to my 450 mile trip in the morning but needs must. I will post up the results on Thursday when I'm back. I'm looking forward to the home run Last edited by JAY BOY on 5th Mar 2017 8:30pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Right my report is WOW
Dropped the car off to Pete on Tuesday morning. I went back at 2pm on Wednesday and all was complete. Jumped in and the difference was noticeable from the off. Slickshift it just amazing so much tighter and my car had only done 8k. It took a few miles to get totally used to it but a top mod and highly recommended. Now for the intercooler and 170 remap. Bl00dy hell the response is phenomenal no more 2nd gear kangaroo pick up is immediate and no lag. I do feel on the motorway it now needs another gear but thats just me i think. 3rd and 4th it just pulls and pulls the torque is mind blowing A massive hats off to a very clever man Pete Bell Get your trucks booked in |

Spent the weekend on the Defender.
I took the NAS rear bumper off as it had started to rust. It's only two years old and in a very bad way. Rubbed it down and painted it for the time being, its going to need to be shot blasted and powder coated. While it was off cleaned the oxidisation from the rear cross member and gave it a nice coat of satin black paint. Started to change the corroded bolts on the body work for SS ones. Cleaned the cars. A nice couple of days for me. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
