Very well said @gilarion and HEAR, HEAR...
I would add, without this place of learning, kit 'n clobber, technique know how and heads up on so many and varied Landy based topics (which cost us all oodles of dosh!) from an altogether superb bunch of caring, sharing and knowlegeable members and fellow Landy enthusiasts, to help us all we would surely not have half so much fun with our Landies as well (although our bank balances may be better off!)... So a hearty thank you to Martin, may we wish you and yours a wonderful festive period and hope we all have a happy, healthy and very prosperous year in 2015 (how else will we be able to afford to continue frequenting this amazing place... ), even if some of us don't 'do' it in the same way, with all the bells and whistles, just HumBalls... Merry Christmas!
I think today is my 1 month anniversary and I love the place. It's already been quite invaluable to me and our Defender, plus I suspect in the long term we will make some great friends here. We were part of Pistonheads for quite a long time and I said only the other day to hubby that this site is like PH used to be but sadly has turned into a place full of nasty individuals. |

Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
