Sawtooths & GG AT2s - fitted & impressions
Just some impressions of my new 16" genuine sawtooths & General Grabber AT2s

They look great and although had little experience so far, they're great off road. Been climbing muddy rutted hills a bit recently that I doudbt I'd have managed on the TRs. They're quiet too and they track well, and the rides good, no drumming as with some MTs but then they are pretty all round tyres.

Think it's a pretty unique setup too! No doubt everyone will copy now haha Big Cry

Any questions feel free to send my way, but very happy.

Was getting dark at this point but shows how nicely they fill out the arches.

Look forward to your reports of how they perform on a sandy beach ....... Just hope the tide is going out when you make your first exploratory test drive.

Looks a great combination with the Sawtooths and the black utility. Lots of nice sensible upgrades and nothing superfluous or unnecessary. A true 21st century defender Thumbs Up

Out of interest, what is the tread depth on them?

Need something to compare mine too! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Hi David What size are your AT2s. I am looking to change my MTs to something more road biased. I borrowed a set TRs they where so much quieter, I am running on 265s on ZU alloys. Cheers John

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I'm very happy with it at the moment and enjoying adding little things here and there but as you say I like to keep it fairly simple.

The tyres are 235/85/16 so standard size, I think they're about right personally. Cheers, David

Tread depth is around 8mm, but it's hard to tell really.

Also fitted my genuine spare wheel cover to cover up the one boost alloy that is my spare

Looks Great Thumbs Up

If I had a spare wheel on the back thats definitely the cover I'd have!

Thank you for the depth, will have a comparison tomorrow! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197
