Td5 90 fuel filler pipe problem
I'm just about finished replacing my td5 90 chassis. I've lost the fuel filler pipe somewhere so ordered a new genuine one. Tried to fit it today and the pipe is far too big for the tank. It fits the filler fine but the tank end is too big.

Can anyone confirm the td5/Tdci 90 fuel filler pipe should have a reduced diameter for the tank end?

Out of curiosity I tried the filler pipe on my 110 td5 and it fits perfectly - the 110 tank filler is 59mm diameter wheras my 90 tank is 51mm dia.

Although the pipe was new and genuine landrover with correct part number for a 90 and from reputable parts supplier I noticed the bag had been opened before and resealed with sellotape so perhaps someone has got muddled up and put a 110 pipe in a 90 bag?

Thanks

Sounds like the parts have been mixed up, but it is not imposible for the wrong part to have been put in the bag from Land Rover themselves in the past I have had a few items miss bagged...
