Sound Deadening?

Not wanting to offend anyone here but what's with all this noise proofing everyone wants, I really don't get it and find it quite funny. Each to their own I know but if I wanted a quiet vehicle I'd get an electric car! I thought one of the attractions with Defender ownership is the noise of the engine??? I love the sound of my 200tdi, the mud and water splatter under the arches.

each to their own yeah, but soundproofing my 110 has changed it no end.

Feels more solid, less tinny, less rattles, clearer music/phone calls, doors make a nice solid clunk now too.

really recommend it but its the kind of thing you go all the way or don't bother. 2 pieces of soundproofing on each footwell won't do anything. It needs a combination strategy, ie. Dynamat or equivalent, carpets, rubber mats and everywhere you can get it. Roof, inside doors, rear panels etc...
