Yep it's 20% VAT for cars and LCV's.
Can't comment on heavy weight Commercials as I don't deal in them at work. |

I too pay the exorbitant £490 for my 2010 2.4 TDCi 90 Station Wagon.

Its not the date of first reg,, but the model year,,
Have a friend of such, with a Jan 11 reg 90,, He got a great deal buying new, but was a 2010 model, so pays the higher rate, the dealer would have been stuck with it otherwise, worked out at "free" tax for 5 years !! Gentlemen,considr yourshelves very lucky.
Here in Greece,it's 880 euros road tax and an additional 450-620 euros for "luxury living" tax while the wages and salaries have gone "down-under" here.. ![]() ![]() |
