£17,500 priced for a quick sale!
Owing to an imminent change of family circumstances, I am selling my 110. This is an unusual vehicle in great condition with very low mileage. I had intended to keep the vehicle as my ‘forever’ car and built it with this use in mind. I have priced the vehicle with a view to a ‘quick sale’ as our new baby is due in six weeks. The 110 was originally built in 1999 on a V Plate - it is registered with DVLA as a ‘Land Rover 110 TD5’. In 2013 I fully rebuilt the car as follows; Brand new Marshlands chassis Engine (2.4 Tdci), gearbox, transfer box, axles, complete body shell, electrics (inc ABS and Traction Control) and interior from a delivery-mileage 2009 Tdci Puma, bought directly from Land Rover where they were fitted to an armoured test mule. Steering and suspension components were fully refurbished and replaced as necessary from the original car to comply with DVLA regs and prevent a Q Plate. All new bushes throughout. In addition, I added the following equipment during the rebuild; Air conditioning Winter pack - heated windscreen and heated seats Mantec steering guard Mantec raised air intake Genuine (Safety Devices) expedition roof rack and rear ladder Genuine tow pack and electrics Genuine side steps Galvanised from mud guard brackets Devon 4x4 fuel cooler guard Kenwood USB / SD / DAB head unit and compact subwoofer behind genuine cubby box Monroe uprated dampers LED indicators and tail lights MUD Stuff front mudguard extenders MUD Stuff snow cowl for heater air intake X-Eng second row door extenders Twin front windscreen washer jets, using genuine parts Tinted second row and rear windows Carpet throughout second row and load area Genuine front and second row rubber mats Osram uprated headlight bulbs Shire Engineering pedal lock - included in sale I also have a good sized box of spares and original parts that were replaced with upgrades, which will be included with the vehicle. Earlier this year, the clutch slave cylinder started to fail (not uncommon with the early Puma drivetrain) - I had the complete clutch pack, master and slave cylinders replaced with the latest Genuine Parts at a cost of just under £1000. The Battery is also brand new. The vehicle came without a service book - I have bought a replacement to record all service work. I replaced all fluids from the engine, gearbox, transfer box, axles and brake system with all new filters during the rebuild in 2013. The car will another engine oil and filter change before sale, short of 12,000 miles. The vehicle is registered with DVLA as a 1999 vehicle - it has a private registration plate (included with the sale) of J- - HUE; this is a nod to the first production Series 1 Land Rover, HUE 166. The digital odometer of the car reads in Kilometres, as the ECU and dashboard were from an export-spec vehicle and conversion to MPH is apparently not possible. However the speedometer is in Miler-per-Hour. The mileage is currently 18,504 km (11,497 miles) - this may creep up a bit with local journeys. I insure the vehicle through Adrian Flux, who are very accommodating to rebuilt vehicles. I pay no more than a standard 2009 Tdci would cost to insure. There are a couple of imperfections that I should declare; A small dink in the nearside quarter panel about 10mm across. The front nearside wheel arch flare split and has been bonded back together. There are a number of blanked holes throughout the interior of the vehicle, owing to the unusual use the body shell was originally put to. These have all been blanked and covered, and very few are visible. Please drop me an email if you have any questions - I am very confident that the first person to view this great vehicle will buy it! Price drop to £16,950 - will probably accept a cheeky offer from a forum member to avoid fees from other sites. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

That's absolutely perfect for me. It's a shame I've just spent near enough your asking price on a 2009 plate!

Dammit! Why will nobody buy my car? If I could sell my own I'd be down to look at that in heartbeat.

Full pictures are on the eBay listing - please excuse the lazy link, but I'm at work and our connection won't allow a link to Flickr.
