I think if IRC you need to drill through the marine ply base and through the roof rack and then bolt them together. The drilling is easier before the rack goes onto the car. I think i then put the rack on the roof and secured it. Then attached the tent to the rack. It's a bit fiddly. two things - I varnished the ply with marine grade varnish to assist with the weather proofing and used silicone or rubber washers to waterproof the bolt holes. Hope that helps: Click image to enlarge 2.2 Tdci 110 XS CSW Corris Grey Prince Harry's D3 (gone but not forgotten) 300 Tdi 110 CSW (gone but not forgotten) |

Put the tent on the rack and open up lift up mattress and measure where the rails are on the rack then drill through tent base and rack make sure it is through the centre of the rail on the rack 4 bolts on medium tent and 6 on 2.0 Matt tent easy enough but better done before rack fitted if not possible for rack with clamps on one end and lift up and secure with some blocks underneath so you can get to the bolts make sure bolt mont hit roof when you lower it back down though.
