I imagine it would be very fun to clean after it gets caked with mud and debri, but it sure does look pretty there. 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately)

the panel is very easy to clean from the wheel arch side with a water hose

It's an oil pan for catching leaks........... except it has escape holes so probably designed by LR and therefore of no use.
