I've confused meself again
Evening folks,
It's kinda Landy related as I'm using a product more frequently used on green oval machines Very Happy

I have been fitting an second leisure battery on my mercedes camper using a X-Eng split charge, all is well so far, and just about to connect the "exciter" wire to the relay BUT !!! Here's my dilemma

I have gone from positive to positive terminals with the split charge Inbetween, But - on the earth terminal second aux battery I have taken a cable direct to a healthy earth on the body,
Is this ok Neutral
Can't see an issue from where I sit but in the diagram it shows running a cable direct from post to post on both battery's ,
Although this isn't impossible it would be very tricky due to the location of the second battery

Thanks for answering my question and sorting my frazzled brain out Laughing

No issue with earths both tied to the body/chassis as long as they have a good connection. Might be worth measuring the resistance between earth terminals to make sure if you arent sure.
