The misty air will occur if there is warm humid air in front of the vents. Common enough issue living in the tropics.

I've had no problems with the A/C I just wish they'd made the vents either side of the clock adjustable as well as the eyeballs 110 2.4TDCi

same problem with A/C
My one is a 2009 puma 90 CSW. I'm facing the same problem with my A/C. After 10 minutes a fog comes out and the system is frozen... The dealer changed a vaulve (thermostatic) but is has not solve the problem. The asked me to come back there to have the dash removed and some other problem found.... I'm thinking about buying a simple thermostatic control (those old ones used in the past) and installing it before the painel switch (it could be done by cutting the wires and placing it in between, and conecting the mercurio terminal inside the A/C).
Anyone has tried it? does it solve the problem? any suggetion or information about this problem been solved by a dealer? how..???

best regards to All.

There should be no need to modify the factory system - the dealer should be able to get it working right. Ours took two goes (two new TMVs) but it seems well sorted now. I can't explain why TWO valves were faulty other than to suggest that they may get bad batches of them from time to time so two repairs in rapid succession result in two faulty parts from the same batch being installed one after the other.

Just let them have another go at it. 2007 Defender 110

About the A/C, my 90 2.4 is leaking the condensed water originated in the A/C condenser (inside dash) in the top of the gearbox, and it rolls in the gearbox, for in the end, in the botton of it, leak to the floor.
I ask: It woldn't exist any type of tube or pipe to drain this water away off the gear box?

In yours Defenders it also occur?

PS: sorry about the bad english, if I be misunderstood.

Does anyone have a part number for this de-ice switch? and do you need to remove the whole dash to replace this switch?

Cheers
Nick
