Mines leaking, theres no puddle on the driveway but the bottle is lower than it should be. Also the steerings been sloppy for a while now so it's going to be sorted while in for it's second service next week. Not very good for a vehicle with only 14km. 130 crew cab

Hi,
Just had my sterring box replaced last week UNDER WARRANTY due to small leak. Had to wait a bit due to delivery by Land Rover of a LHD steering box. No problems experienced from dealer - very apologetic on behalf of Land Rover. Joe 'El Pepe Flamenco' JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

Ours failed at 35,000 miles. Changed under warranty.
Dealer said the old Td5 Disco steering box had the same issues. Don't let them charge it for you and make sure they tighten everything up afterwards. They didn't on ours and LRA had to come out. Got free MoT and 25% off all future servicing as a result though! As an afterthought, I am running 235/85R16 BFG ATs, nothing bigger than standard fit. Not like some of you monster truck boys |
