Said goodbye to a few more WW2 veteran friends this year, their ranks are thinning but it is good to see so many remembering and paying tribute those who served and continue to serve. Steve.

Anyone know why the Irish representative did not lay a poppy wreath but rather a plain green one?

I think a green laurel wreath is typically laid in Ireland as an act of remembrance. In France they use the blue cornflower.
