Pressure in rocker - how much?

Hi

How much pressure should their be in the rocker box? I can pull off the air breather from the rocker box and feel a definite pressure or undo the oil filler and feel the pressure on my hand plus a sound of a low drone when it is off.

I've tried to video this but to be honest it doesn't capture the change of sound.

The reason I'm interested is that I have an increase in black smoke recently under acceleration so trying to get to the bottom of it.

Nothing to worry about.
There's always pressure in there..as the pistons return from top to bottom position they also push air in the crankcase,the color-smell of the vapours escaping with air is the most important..
