X eng gear lever lock query
Hi, I have one of those x eng gear lever to diff lock lever locks... If that makes sense! But... Trying to fit to my 2005 XS and the diff lock knob seems to be too big to go inside the tube? Standard knob from new, but not sure if the XS is any different ?
Anyone come across this?

As above, if it's an XS leather knob it doesn't fit Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!

I too have a XS, it took a bit of persuasion to get over the leather and stitching, but now all is fine. Although the Hi/Low gear knob now has a bit of excess wear as a result!

Ahh that would explain it then, I guess I could always fit a 'normal' plastic diff lock one in its place.
Thanks for the quick replies, least I know what's what.
