electrical bits
Hi folks

About to 'ave a go' at putting in some more cigar lighter type sockets in my truck. Any recommendations for electrical suppliers (uk)?

Hello Matey,

A quick search can reveal lots of options. Here is a thread lifted from earlier today with a good couple of leads. I have used the suppliers therein for several items and they are very good.

Would be my recommendation, vwp easier to order from as you can do it online, but the guy at polevolt (think its Neil?) is really helpful if you email or call him. EDIT: ok polevolt have a new website with webshop since I last looked, so ignore this comment about ordering.

Would recommend against ciggy sockets in general, they are crap connection, break and sockets don't lock in place. The DIN power sockets are better, but there are other alternatives, just have a think before you jump in with more ciggy sockets. Don't forget to fuse the new sockets etc. Disco 3 gone but the memory of the bills remain...
XS 110 Utility maybe one day..... (did they fix the quality yet?)
