Most likely that the bukbs need replacing as they've blown at the end of their life.

That's a lot of bulbs to blow all at the same time.
Are the switches illuminated ? |

No - I'm 99% sure all the centre dash (apart from radio) is in darkness - that includes all the switches, and clock.
(I'll check again later on the school run). So yes, seems unlikely to be failed bulbs. Switches themselves functioning normally, btw. |

Mine has done the same but I haven't got round to checking the feeds to the backs of the swithes yet, Mine coincided with me delving about in there so I have probably dislodged a connector block or disturbed an earth, just need to get my head back into the electrickery theme and not the adjust it with a big hammer theme before I get back in there!

Yes, it's been over a year at least since I had a rummage around with the radio out, so I can't quite remember how the connectors worked, but still seems odd that just the illumination would go off, and not the functions?
If it's not a fuse, then I guess I'm just going to have to open it up and have another fiddle - when I get the time (probably next summer!) |

Hello
I had the same problem last winter and it was the main switch. Also the high beam was affected. Bought a new one but before fitting I took out the old one and used my wife's nail file and polished the contacts. Vips it worked again. Please dont tell my wife.... Good luck to you. |

If it is my truck you assume is a TD5 then the answer is Yes.
Please do try to take out the main switch and connect the 3 cables together. If the light comes on then you have found the problem. If not then I'm wrong. M |
