Just checked FF's site and the answer is yes.
'Please note, the grille panel and grille needs to be modified to fit this bumper.' Also check as this bumper is winch specific. I would have had it off you Mo but it won't take the Superwinch Husky 8 Shutts |____000_ [l_|__\___\,___ l--___--_[O==O] ()_)' '()_)-----()_) 2005 D3 SE 1998 Disco 300tdi - slow play thing 1995 Defender 300tdi - Winching play thing Aprilia RSV 1000 - fast play thing Honda CR250 - noisy play thing Essex Land Rover Club member ------- Andy's Landy's - http://www.andys-landys.blogspot.com Suspension checking workbook - http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...k_v002.zip |

To be fair, not many winch bumpers take the Husky other than ones made specifically for them as they have such a unique footprint. Similarly the 8274 needs a fairly specific bumper. Most other winches out there should fit this and any other generic winch bumpers. The trouble with bumpers that do not require modification of the grill is that they stick out too far, look gash, and compromise you approach angle.

exactly right, these are the best bumpers for looks & offroading. Unfortunately, my tdci is a little bit nicer than my old 300tdi and I don't want to start cutting lumps out of it the last grille I cut looked terrible

If you get a replacement front panel you can remove your nice, painted one and replace with the cut panel. When/if you want to return to original condition just bolt the original panel in.
Best of both worlds... Cheers Simon |
