Three Lancasters at East Kirby, worth a look:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuOfVWjeL8o I was at one of the Spitfire celebrations at Duxford and the sound of massed Merlins is simply awesome. Somewhere amongst my collection of ancient records I have one that includes some wartime recordings of a squadron of Lancasters taking off on a raid and another recorded as one of the 1000 bomber raids was passing overhead. Just a pity there are no flying Halifax or Stirlings left to share the memory. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
