Bulkhead repairs
Its come to that time to consider (read must get the bulkhead repaired). Like all Defenders, its gone below the foam seal by the vent, on the corner by the windscreen bracket and also on the bottom of the sloped section before the wing.
To repair properly, I think its the following off;
Headlining out
Roof partly off
Windscreen brackets off
Remove top windscreen bolts
Pull windscreen up and out (are there any bolts holding the windscreen to the bulkhead or is it studs?)
Remove top door hinge
Remove foam seal
Remove vent flap
Cut out rusty stuff?
Weld in new & paint?

The local body shop gave me a rough price of £500-600 to do the job, not sure if this sounds about right or not?
I was planning on supplying some repair sections, new foam gasket, maybe a new windscreen seal

Is it a single skin between the outer face of the bulkhead (i.e outside) and the inner ? 1999 Defender TD5 110
