Hi I run a split charging system for my audio and radio stuff vie got my defender. i have a winch but that is connected to my starter battery. The second battery is pulled in via a 300A BEP marine automatic relay. I run the shunt on the Neutral Leg between the two batteries. I have the second battery fused at 100A as the shunt is only Rated at 100A. But if you want to pull winch current through the meter then bigger shunts are available (Any companies work as long as they are the right A/mV output)

Does any one know of a single monitor that can display the state of both batteries?

Simple solution perhaps would be to configure the wiring of the unit above through a simple relay and switch so you could switch between the two batteries to view the status of each in turn. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Thanks guys
A relay would work well and I could connect it via the ignition so it only shows when the key is turned. Also like the meter on ebay. I have plenty of room on the center dash to fit it.
