Does anyone have a direct number for someone at Land Rover finance? I just want to clarify some of the terms and conditions and can't seem to find a way of talking to a human being unless I have a finance agreement in place!

I'm just after information on if I was to pay off a 'Freedom' finance package early. Say a 4 year deal but want to pay off after 2 years.....the t&c's say you can but don't give any detail of possible fees or is it just the outstanding balance (I guess it would be the financed amount minus payments made to date giving an outstanding balance??) Help!

Not sure what a "freedom package" is but if it's normal hire purchase you can settle at any time during the agreement or make capital payments of any amount during the agreement, thus altering the amount you owe.

If you settle a hire purchase agreement early you are due a rebate as you will have been overpaying the interest element of your monthly payment, so if you settle after two years you will only pay yow years interest.

Hope that helps. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Thanks for the info.

The 'freedom finance package' is a option Land Rover give when buying a car.

You pay a deposit, have a GMFV (balloon option at end) and a fixed monthly payment
