Winterising a Defender 90

I purchased my 90 a few years back after we had three good winters in a row. Last year it didn't get much use due to the poor weather but I'm hoping for more good winters in the future. Given that my Defender was purchased to allow mobility in snowy conditions what improvements can I make?. I've already added a Propex heater and will probably also upgrade the heater matrix. I have two sets of chains and also a set of winter tyres. I'm going to upgrade the diffs and am currently torn between front and rear lockers or perhaps a front LSD and a rear locker. I'm also torn between a full roll cage or just a simple hoop.
How have you prepared your vehicle for Winter?

N.B. I live on a remote farm in north Wales at an altitude of 260 metres ASL.

If the prep you've done isnt enough then it's too bad to go outside

living in a similarly remote farm my prep involves enough logs and a bottle of something nice.

I would make sure its got some rust protection (dinitrol, waxoil etc) ACF50 here and there, acf 50 locks and hinges. Apart from usual maintenance stuff you are good to go. 110 Hardtop
