steering pump leak
Hi I have a leak on the power steering pump its a slight drip but cant see where its coming from it seems its on the seam of the pump . is this something common on the pumas . cheers daz ..

Happened on my 2007 a few months ago.Mine has 30k miles. I was advised that replacing the seal would be expensive and would not guarantee the problem wouldn't return in a short while so a replacent exchange pump was recommended. Usual story. Stratstone wanted something like £1400 for the work and had it with with a service at Staffod4x4 for about half that.no problems since - but really wouldn't expect there to be and although annoying having to lay out after just 30k miles is genuinely the only issue I have had since taking delivery from new.
