Central locking
Hi, I have searched the threads and haven't come across an answer to my problem. when I lock my doors with the keyfob the rear door and front doors lock but the middle doors dont. Ive only had this one two weeks and Its my first 5 door, ( only had swb's before) so maybe missing something stupid but cant find out a reason why they wouldn't lock. are they on a separate fuse ? I'm also having the ignition lock changed as the barrel has collapsed but I dont think that would affect it. grateful for any help. Big Cry

Usually when this happens it is because one or more of the wires between the "B" post and the door, inside the rubber trunk, has broken due to the repeated flexing as the door is opened and closed.

It is a very common problem!

Fixing it involves removing the door card and splicing a new short length of wire into the door harness. I have always used a highly flexible wire intended for use in test leads etc and heve not (yet) had one I have repaired break a second time.
