Cool. Love the headlight guards. Would also love a guard top air scoop.

... Lillebror is often heavily loaded, so I went for HD-springs. Have lifted it two inches by using springspacers. The shocks are gas-type (lowered seats..). Extended bump-stops. There has been no need for double yoke propshaft, but Lillebror is an old Tdi, so newer versions may need this when lifting...? Have fitted castor correcting bushes. When they're worn out, I'll probably go for 3 degree corrected front radius arms instead (but the bushes are still going strong, after five years...). Also I want to fit cranked rear radius arms, because with the originals the bushes to the chassis are wearing rapidly... The tyres are 35/12.50x15 BFG mud's on 10x15" wheels. The gearing is still original, and that's ok..., but I will probably install lockers, at least in the rear axle, and at the same time lower the gearing to kompensate for the bigger tyres.... You may want HD internal axle components, but when driving sivilized, one can manage without, also .. This wasn't so much of an advice but rather a description of what's been done to Lillebror, but I'm happy with the set up... - for my kind of use ... |
