Our house had an "up and over door" and couldn't get the Defender in. I swapped to a sectional door and managed to reclaim approx 3" of height so now the Defender fits.

yeh my current 60s house has an up and over and the Def misses the door by about 1 inch, I thought if I ever raised the landy or fitted bigger wheels/tyres Id change the garage door to an alternative. Unfortunatly the house we like has a concrete lintle at 6 foot 8 inchs from the floor which is exactly what the manual says the landy is and a door width of 6 foot 2 inchs, I think a trial is in order if this progresses this any further. Confused DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
