Well last week I was in the Czech Republic, and all ready to fly home on Friday. With the air space closing on Thursday we were trying to work out what would happen - would it soon clear, or last some time???
With appointments and training sessions booked this week back in the UK we decided that we would take our Avis hirecar on a bit of a roadtrip...... 14 hours driving across Czech, Germany, Belgium, France to arrive at Caen railway station to hand the car back Bus to the port Overnight ferry Caen -> Portsmouth Taxi to the station 5 trains back to Totnes Taxi home and some people think these trips are fun!! I've now flown East from Shanghai.
23 hours in the air and I'm currently in New York (which is a nicer place to be stuck ). Looks like I might be getting the boat home One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
