Gents
advice please, If you have purchased something (for about 10% less than the new price) in good faith off a fellow forum member paying by credit transfer (bank to bank) that arrives after 2 weeks, is damaged due to inadequate packaging, is not as described, and is incomplete. Then when promised a refund or replacement it does not materialise and then despite being polite and patient you have your PMs read but ignored what would you do? I understand that I may have no legal way to get my money back and may need to put this down to experience thanks for any advice in advance DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

I'd name and shame. Unless it was me that sold it. Then I'd suck it up and put it down to experience!!!!

I would let Martin know and the user could be banned from selling. It should stop others from being caught out that way. I guess this is why people should be paying with paypal as you have some protection. Shame there are people like that using the forum though. I've brought a few things from here and luckily never had a problem. 2001 TD5 110 County Station Wagon - sold

Sounds not too far off my recent dealings with a member here too. 'As new' yet came with scratches, faulty and damage...
