Please can somebody tell me if the 2015my defender with a factory tow pack comes with 13pin towing electrics? Many thanks 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

When I got mine was advised to not get the factory tow pack and get dealer to do the lot (so that I have 13 pin).
Not cheap though! |

Agree not cheap that way but it does get the benefit of being added to the 3 year vehicle warranty.

If you'd only ever need 12N I'd stick with it.
If you need 12N & 12S then go for the 13 pin as its neater. The 13pin is more complicated to fit though especially if you DIY it. What ever you choose you can get adapters anyway. I only have and will be using a small trailer so 12N suits me amicably. |

13 pin has the added advantage of being able to hook up 12v trickle charger to the permanent live / earth.
