Gents
The previous owner of my 110 was Mr Builder Man. Now I have previously gone on record to thank him for covering every millimetre of the interior with a brick dust / concrete, but now I must thank him again for breaking every fixing on the rear door card and grip filling it back on and filling the entire induction system with dry grass seeds. However the best thing to come out of all this is that he flogged the Landie and went back to his mistsuyakki l2000 ninja surf warrior or whatever the hell the moron is rolling about in now. My biggest thanks is to you gents, who via this forum showed me how to fix duff Central locking. Thanks Gents, up yours Mr Builder Man Wes |

I've always worked my landrovers. If you're not a fan of straw, sawdust, grass, mud, chainsaw oil, bits of bark, dents, scrapes and bodged fixes I'd advise not buying anything from the likes of me.
If you use a vehicle for work there are bound to be residues left. If you don't like this then maybe better to buy a vehicle that's only been used for the daily commute. Dirty Deeds - Done Dirt Cheap |

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

In my last Discovery the rear carpet soundproofing was sodden wet. On removal under the rear door carpet retaining trim was rotting hay and loads of maggots I had to dig out.
It's amazing what you can find in older well-used vehicles. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Hmm, mine was an ex-firearms Police motor. Apart from the miles of extra wiring. ends chopped off or non useable plugs or sockets, there were a few spent 9mm cartridge cases. That could have been interesting if I took to going on the Channel Tunnel or the like with the explosive sniffing dogs on patrol

Now there would be an interesting thread perhaps? What have you found of interest in a second hand vehicle? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

I don't think I could be surprised by what is found in LandRover's or Range Rovers. I looked at a 09 plate range rover last year and their dog had eaten a lot of the rear interior.
The image and the use of defenders has changed a lot in the last few years. Round by me it's 50/50 work ones or working ones. No one used to comment on my defenders but now people think I've spent 40k on it. I guess more and more people have seen the advert for twisted and other special editions. |

Haven't found anything worth mentioning but I personally left a 2 inch Ned Flanders doll in my previous Freelander (more precisely in the air vents near the windscreen) My Land Rover doesn't have problems... it has features to keep me entertained doing DIY |

I found a load of small white footpath signs, various nails, a Woolworths receipt! (ancient artifact now!) and lots of dirt. and that was just behind the dashboard

On a different tack I found an old tax disc for a 90 in the farmhouse we bought last year, that and a newspaper cutting concerning jam making along with a single old penny [1d] was about all the additional bits we have found ....so far..... Steve.
