I could have supplied the 285/60R18 Cooper LTZ tyres at £165 each, fitted to Manta's at £240 each, delivered to Aberdeen.
The 285 LTZ's are spot on in my opinion and sit bang on to the edge of the arch, giving an awesome stance. I can't imagine the 265's would be any different on price if thats what you really wanted? Regards, Gary. |

@Riyo:
Would you fit 30mm spacer on 265 to make it 'look' better? |

H3nry,
I was going to initially go 285's with spacers (primarily for the turning circle) but i dont think they are necessary with either (unless your wheels have a big offset). i think both fill the arches nicely but with spacers on the manta wheels a 30mm stickout is probably a bit OTT and illegal.(although may look cool ) edit * another thing im going to do is adjust my turning stops..i havent done mine yet but apparently it can vastly improve the turn circle. theres a guide here http://defender90xs.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11...tment.html |

After much mulling I ended up going with Maxtraxx 18" and Atturo Trail Blade MTs in 275/65/r18s in the end.
Noisy but look and should cope with the Lanes just fine. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge John |
