2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Galway Green

TDCI DANGLING BIT

Hi all
just changed my gearbox oil and about six inches towards the engine from the fill plug found this dangling wire,sensor as seen in photo anybody know what it is and where it is fixed

Cant say what its for but it just clips on one of the fins/casting on the side of the gearbox Chris

2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Zambezi Silver

This wiring plug is for the drivers seat belt buckled/unbuckled warning light. It's used for some international markets but not in the UK.

thank you clifflandy nice to know what its for, its a pity they didn't leave the wiring in when i fitted the heated seats !
