GOOD SERVICE FROM LR-DIRECT

Just a quick punt for LR-Direct whom I have never used before but have provided very good service to me over the past couple of weeks.

I ordered a nice new Puma bonnet to cheer up my 90 and chose them because not only were they the cheapest but they charged no postage costs whereas all other places either wouldn't deliver or wanted serious money (it is a large / bulky item).
Bonnet arrived in good time (I ordered BP but as I knew would happen, a LR Genuine Parts item was supplied) but the packaging was damaged and on inspection the outer skin was found to be dented (not major but noticeable). I sent through photos of the damage (and the packaging) and in a very short space of time I had received the reply that they were very sorry and a new bonnet would soon be on it way to me. This arrived today and as far as I can tell is undamaged (it is SO WELL packed that I struggled to get it out of the packing!) so it is off to the spray shop at the weekend.

Admittedly I am now living with two Puma bonnets in my conservatory (stored in the VERY large boxes they come in) as to date no-one has collected the damaged original one but other than that the service has been excellent (I have offered to "dispose" of the dented one myself but I don't think they will wear that!).

I have purchased mail order from many of the major parts retailers over the years and some have better customer service than others but LR-Direct are up there with the best. ONE LIFE, GET IT!

I use them all the time.getting parts shipped to the South of France,2 to 3 days is the norm.
With very competetive pricees.

i also have had exceptional service from LR-Direct, normally 4-5 days postage and always far cheaper than aussie dealer prices, most of the time around 50-60% of the aussie prices, even with postage

+1 for LR Direct, love the website where you can choose the manufacturer. Spent way too much with them recently on my 90 rebuild......or that's what the wife said
