Help needed- anyone a machineist/ knows a good one?
As some/ most of you know I am now sunning it up in Afghanistan. Anyhow, I am in charge of maintaining a fleet of EOD robots, weapon systems and camera systems...and in the MODs infinate knolwedge they have supplied me with a robot and a cable drum, but forgot to work out a way of attaching the drum to the robot . I have worked out that if I can get a stud made it will be a easy fix .
I am looking at a 12.5mm diamiter center of about 6mm long and at either ends a thread (both right handed).
First end is a M10 thread and needs to be 20mm long.
The other end needs to be 1/4- 20 thread and needs to be 15mm long.
I am currently trying to draw something on my computer that will give a btter idea........any of you think you could help? (looking at you Mal!)

Oh yeah, I will be looking at about 10 of these.
