Personally I would start with wikiloc and you what routes others have done,
As these are routes that others have shared you could contact them to find out about campsites etc, Alternatively go down the road book route |

Make contact with the 4x4/Land rover clubs or forums based in the area you intend visiting.

Thanks, i checked out Wikiloc which has a good database of tracks. And mappy or other for the on road parts.

Where are about in France and when are you thinking of travelling?
