I put cheap seals on and they make the doors much harder to shut so I'm putting genuine on soon to hopefully get rid of the annoyance of having to slam the doors three times to get them to shut

Genuine!
Cheap seals can work for a while, but I just dont think they can beat the Genuine item! |

i shopped around and got the genuine seals for about £40 each, and they fit the best by far

We used to replace door seals all the time on Defenders and buy cheap buy twice was definitely true.
They all seemed to be a horrid fit and if you could get them on they either dropped off or leaked after a short while. I would always stick with genuine on these. Our mechanics refused to fit anything else in the end. |

Go genuine, I started with Britpart (Paddocks) and soon replaced them as they didn't fit and leaked...

Cheers for the advice, think I'll stump up for the genuine parts in that case!
