Heater fan noise
Hi
I recently got a defender with a non working heater.
The owner put a new fuse in and it worked for a few days but squeaked a lot.
Now the fuse has blown and when I replaced it the heater motor is grumbling quite a lot.
When I undid the cover plate off the fender top to check if I could turn it by hand, it felt slightly hard to turn but not seized.
The drain hole was clogged with sand so I cleaned it but couldn't manage to get that plastic duct out or see how to remove the heater matrix with motor.
Can anyone please advise me?
