3.9 v8 engine oil

Guys
I have just bought a 1998 v8 disco with 67k on the clock, I'm about to drop the oil and have a drum of fully synthetic in the garage, is this recommended or shally I get some mineral. It is defender relevant as it's going to go into my 90.

5W-30 fully synthetic C3 for the 3.9 Discovery
Regarding the 90, it will depend on the engine fitted. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali
2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu
2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai
