Anyone used this for the CCF layer when your soundproofing
http://www.efoam.co.uk/zotefoam-plastazote.php The fact it doesnt smell, it waterproof and a very good thermal indicator makes me think its worth a go, especially since its about £10/m2 when using the 5mm version - probably not good for the floor but roof and sides should be ok |

I used the fire seal option from that very company, 6mm thick and its been in about 5 months now and still looks good..

O No its a 6mm Closed cell ver i cant find on there site anymore, its totally waterproof and i was hoping to get more to do the side panels, but i think this will do: http://www.efoam.co.uk/closed-cell-polyethylene.php
As for the improvement, ive noticed a great noise reduction and the temp inside during winter is so much better, i can hear my stereo now!! |
