Yes thanks Lambley, will have to look at that next. Yes being a hardtop it is basic with a now thinner than it used to be plastic "carpet" in the cab area so not much in the way of sound proofing as standard. 110 Hardtop

Lambley, did your bell housing have the standard landrover piece of sound proofing on it? i'm sure mine has some kind of factory fit soundproof on it! If so do you remove that? or does the NK BHB wrap around that too? My 109 thread my youtube channel |

Land Rover are all ready on the case! When I was at Eastnor the other weekend L R Experience were dropping these in your bag when you made a purchase on their stand.

From memory there wasn't any soundproofing on mine before I fitted the blanket. I changed the transfer box to alter the gearing so the tunnel was out, but I can't remember seeing anything other than the metal casing to the box and transfer so I'm sure there wasn't any, do you mean the small piece of foam that sits on the top?
Don't get me wrong, when I said its difficult to fit, it wasn't that bad, it's just a case of spending half an hour getting the blanket into position and tie wrapping it. The blanket is fairly stiff due to the lead within. |
