Load space trims fit?
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I have had my Defender back at the dealers to remedy a fault with the clutch (common problem).
While in, I asked if they could look at the trim in the luggage area, as it moves, and seems to be missing clips? It is a 110 utility XS.
The dealer has told me that they are all like that and some worse than others..... are they taking the mick, or do all of your plastic trims not hold on to anything, rattle and generally not sit where they should?

The girl was lovely and even said that it adds to 'the charm of the Defender'...... 2 LandRovers, and counting!

I don't know the trim specifically, but sounds like a typical dealer excuse to not bother doing the work.

If it is missing clips, it is missing clips at the end of the day! They should put it right definitely! I suspect you've been fobbed off! Rolling Eyes An engine to TDi for!

Yes, we might have common ground. I found a bolt/washer after a bad rattle, still don't know where it came from, so I'd be interested in what you are encouintering, which trims, & what clips/fittings etc are missing?

Hi guys thanks for the replies. I will post pics when I get a minute.
The trim is the dark grey plastic. For example either side of the rear door is a trim which would surround the window in a station wagon. Mine flaps? 2 LandRovers, and counting!

Trim should move and certainly not flap. Push them to get it sorted

Hi caterham, I had a rattle on the clutch, replacement supplied and different car now. Again I was led to believe that 'they are all like that Sir'... 2 LandRovers, and counting!
