So I've been toying recently with getting into trailing (RTV's) and also thinking a V8 series 1 would be ideal.
Happily I have one! Unhappily I haven't seen it for a long time, it's very well buried in a barn Click image to enlarge Behind this little lot... So today was to be the day to get it out and have a good look... Click image to enlarge Getting there slowly... Click image to enlarge Success! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge It's a great little vehicle with loads of character but sadly rotten Click image to enlarge As I don't have many 80" bits (and no leads I a bulkhead) it's got to go. Shame :blub: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Not really! I quite like it and if I can find a bulkhead will keep it!!
It appeals a lot more than restored one! |

Fabricating a new bulkhead for an 80" is easy enough provided it doesn't have to be a perfect replica. Why not make one?
I have a new old stock 80" bulkhead hidden away waiting for the day I get time to restore my two 80"s but it's deffo not for sale, I'm afraid! |

Hmm... Tempted. I have seen homemade ones before and know someone that *might* be persuaded to do it for me |

As you will be aware there is precedent for this. At one stage in 80" production the press tool used for stamping out the curved part of the bulkhead broke or was damaged, and to keep production running bulkheads were hand-built with simple folded panels, very easy to imitate.
